Bronze Tape Sponsorship 2026

Bronze Tape is the third sponsorship level Mt. Baker Ski Area (MBSA) offers for involvement in the Legendary Banked Slalom (LBS). This level requires the below commitments and offers the following benefits:

DEADLINE: September 1, 2025
Full payment for sponsorship cash contribution is due to MBSA by or before November 1st, 2023. Failure to pay the by the due date will result in immediate termination of sponsorship.

HOW TO PAY
Payment can be made by or before the deadline via Credit Card or Check. Click the button below to pay online OR Request Invoice by sending an email to lbs@mtbaker.us.

DEADLINE: January 1, 2026
Delivery of merchandise contribution is due to MBSA by or before January 1st, 2026. Failure to deliver said merchandise by the due date may result in merchandise being excluded from racer swag bags or winner prize packs and will be distributed at other MBSA events.

VALUATION
Merchandise contribution value is calculated at the wholesale cost of the merchandise and will be verified to make sure sponsors are contributing the total amount owed. If a value statement of merchandise is not provided, MBSA will use a keystone (50% of MSRP) rate to determine all merchandise contribution values to ensure the total amount required is met. Any merchandise overages will not be credited to the sponsorship.

MBSA DISTRIBUTION*
Depending on the quantity and size of merchandise there are multiple ways your merchandise contribution may be distributed at the LBS. These include, but are not limited to, the following:

1: 400 Racer Swag Bags: Smaller items that fit inside a tote bag and where the quantity can be given to all or most racers at Racer Check-In.

2: 48 Winner Prize Packs: Small to large items fit inside a large prize bag or can be handed to a racer at the Awards Ceremony. View the Racer Categories page to see a breakdown of the categories and age groups.

3: On-site MBSA Activations: Smaller items that can be distributed first-come-first-served by MBSA crew at various event locations around the ski area.

*All merchandise contributions will be distributed at the discretion of Mt. Baker Ski Area, Inc.
*Sponsor merchandise featuring the LBS logo is not to be sold by MBSA or Sponsors.

If you are interested in creating custom LBS logo merchandise for your Merchandise Contribution please download the 37th LBS Logo Suite and reach out to discuss products concepts and timelines. Keep in mind the deadline for custom LBS merchandise is still January 1st, 2026 and any merchandise overages will not be credited.

RACER SPOTS
Racer entry fees are included in your sponsorship package by level for sponsor racers registered between Sept.1, 2025 and Jan. 15, 2026. One substitution per racer spot can be made prior to Jan. 15 without incurring fees. PRO/AM registration fees apply for any racer registration or substitutions (excluding those due to injury) after Jan. 15. NO DAY-OF REGISTRATION OR RACER SWAPS.

LIFT TICKET VOUCHERS
A valid Mt. Baker Lift Ticket or valid Mt. Baker 2025-26 Season Pass is required to access MBSA chairlifts during the 36th Legendary Banked Slalom. All racers are required to have either a Mt. Baker Lift Ticket or Mt. Baker 2025-26 Season Pass to access the race course. Lift Ticket Vouchers must be exchanged at one of the Mt. Baker Ski Area ticket windows for that day’s Lift Ticket. A voucher, bib or other race related identification does not get you access to MBSA chairlifts. Vouchers are valid only during the event weekend (February 6-7-8, 2026). Each voucher is single use, not valid for multiple tickets and only valid on the day it was exchanged. No refunds, exchanges. No cash value. Accessing MBSA Chairlifts without a Daily Lift Ticket or valid Mt. Baker 2025-26 Season Pass will result in expulsion from the event, and you may face criminal or civil fines and/or be trespassed from MBSA premises.

LBS SALMON BBQ
The LBS Salmon BBQ is held at the Raven Hut Lodge starting at 1:00 pm on the Saturday of the event weekend. Food will be first-come-first-served while supplies last. The total amount of LBS Salmon BBQ Tickets will be included in your LBS Sponsor Pack. Additional BBQ Tickets may be available for purchase. Racer’s Bib count as 1 BBQ Ticket. In-person pickup is available at the RACER INFO BOOTH between February 6th, 7th, & 8th, 2025. Any unclaimed Sponsor Packs will be donated to other Mt. Baker Ski Area events.

SPONSOR TEES
For our sponsors MBSA will make an exclusive 37th LBS Tee. Racers do not receive these tees, but instead receive an 37th LBS Sweatshirt as part of their swag bag. Send size requests to lbs@mtbaker.us by January 1st, 2026.

SPONSOR BANNERS: 4

DEADLINE: January 1, 2026
Sponsors wishing to have visual representation on the race course need to provide up to 4 weatherproof banners to MBSA by January 1, 2026. Banners should be no taller than 3-feet (height of event fencing), and no longer than 5-feet (length can be approximated to fit a single logo of your brand). Any banners that exceed these dimensions will not get placement on event fencing at the race course.

NO ALCOHOL MAY BE CONSUMED IN THE DEMO AREA.

All sponsors and their associated employees, guests, racers are required to adhere to all Mt. Baker Ski Area policies and guidelines. Violation of any of the policies may result in fines, suspension or revocation of skiing or snowboarding privileges and access to other services or facilities without refund, and may result in permanent trespass from the Ski Area.
