Locals+ Qualifier Saturday Schedule

RACER CHECK-IN

When: Saturday March 15 between 8:15 – 9:00 a.m. ONLY CHECK IN IF YOUR CATEGORY IS RACING SATURDAY!

Where: White Salmon Base Area, check-in tent at the base of Chair #7
What: Pick up your racer bib and t-shirt
Important: All racers must show ID (Baker season pass, a driver’s license or a passport . . . minor’s 15 & under must have a parent/guardian show ID) and pick up their racer bib IN PERSON.

DO NOT check in or attempt to inspect the course on the day your category is NOT racing.

NOTES: These start times are ESTIMATES, and may change depending on weather conditions, course conditions, or other factors. Check the white board in the start area at the top of the course throughout your race day for updates.

All Saturday racers MUST CHECK IN AT REGISTRATION between 8:15 – 9:00 a.m Saturday. If you do not check in at registration, you will be disqualified and not allowed to race. Even if your category runs at the end of the day, you still have to check in at registration.

If you miss your start time, you will be DQ’d for that run. If it’s the 1st run, you will still be allowed to take the 2nd run if you make that start time.

Categories will run in Groups (see the table for your Group #). Each Group will take one run, then come back immediately to the top of the course to take their second run.

ITINERARY

9:15 – 9:45 – course inspection for SATURDAY CATEGORIES ONLY
– In order to be eligible to race, every racer must inspect the course once before their run either visually or by slipping the course.
– Course slip inspection is at LOW SPEED, with NO LINKED TURNS. If you run any of the course at full speed during course inspection you may be disqualified. There are multiple racers on course at the same time during inspection, so be courteous and give other racers plenty of room! Racers must be wearing their race bib in order to slip.

10:15 – approx. 3:00 – SATURDAY CATEGORIES RACE
Each racer gets two runs.

Category Start Times will be posted at registration and online. All times are dependent upon weather, course condition, etc. Make sure to keep checking the white board at the top of the course for updates throughout the day.

NOTE: A current Mt. Baker season pass or day lift ticket is required to race. There will be no discounts on lift tickets.

WHO QUALIFIES FOR THE 2026 LBS

The number of places that qualify for the 2026 LBS in each category depends on the total number of racers in each category. We will take a percentage from each category, adding to a total of 50 spots for the LBS.

* Racers who qualify for the 2026 LBS MUST complete the LBS registration form AND pay entry fee by September 1, 2025. If your registration is not complete by this date, you will lose your spot in the 2025 LBS. Registration info and link will be sent to qualifying racers by April 15, 2025.
