SNOWSHOE ROUTE INFO:
| 1. Start at White Salmon Day Lodge, walk along the edge of the handle tow. 2. Continue along the cat track at the top of the handle tow. Veer right to the bottom of the halfpipe. Continue up along the FAR SIDE of the halfpipe along the edge of the trees on the east side of the halfpipe (closest to Mt. Shuksan, not White Salmon) 3. At top of the halfpipe stay to your left along edge of cat track. Watch for uphill traffic! 4. As you pass under the chair, cross over to the right edge of the cat track so you are not on the blind corner of the cat track. Head toward the “slow area.” 5. This is a high congestion area and it is your responsibility to avoid all downhill traffic. Once again, downhill traffic has the right of way. A ski patroller is often stationed here and may give you suggestions about your route. Once past the middle of the slow area, cross back to the left side until you have a clear area for crossing above the slow area. You should be able to see the finish from the slow area 4. Cross to the right side of “slow area” above it and continue out of the way of uphill traffic to finish.
