RACE DAY INFO FOR RACERS
#1: RACER CHECK-IN
When: Monday, January 16, 2017 between 8:15 – 9:00 a.m.
Where: Heather Meadows Lodge, bottom floor
What: Sign the 2017 Locals Qualifier Liability Release Agreement and pick up your racer bib
Important: All racers must pick up their racer bib IN PERSON AND PROVIDE PHOTO ID. All racers will be required to sign the 2017 Locals Qualifier Participant Release Agreement. If you don't sign it, you can't race.
Racers under the age of 18: must have their Parent/Legal Guardian complete the 2017 Locals Banked Slalom Qualifier Minor Participant & Legal Guardian Release Agreement in order to race in the Locals Qualifier. If your parent/legal guardian will not be with you at the Heather Meadows Lodge during registration, download the attached form, print it out, have your parent/legal guardian sign it, and bring it with you to the registration. Your completed release form must be legible and in good condition!!!
8:15 – 9:00 am: REQUIRED Racer check-in at the Heather Meadows Lodge
9:00 - 9:40: One course inspection – slipping only. Racers MUST BE WEARING THEIR BIBS to inspect the course.
10:00 – 3:30: The Race... one run (except for Next Gen, who get two runs)

10:50 – Next Generation Girls first run
11:00 – Next Generation Boys first run

3:15 - Award Ceremony in the Heather Meadows Lodge.
All times are dependent upon weather, course condition, etc. Make sure to keep checking the white board at the top of the course for updates throughout the day. Race results and information will be posted on a board by the Heather Meadows administration office which is located inside the lodge, just behind the ticket office.
#3: THE COURSE
The race will be held in Deathstar this year. To access from the Heather Meadows side of the mountain, ride Chair #3 and follow the blue trail from the top of Chair #3 towards “Holiday”. The start will be right under Chair #4 at the upper section of Deathstar.
NOTE: A current Mt. Baker season pass or day lift ticket is required to race. There will be no discounts on lift tickets.
