Robert is a native Washingtonian who spends as much time as possible outside in the hills and on the beaches of the Great Pacific Northwest. He’s a practicing graphic designer, illustrator and educator who will proudly admit that his grandfather designed the first Olympia Beer moving waterfall sign. He currently works in Seattle at Modern Dog Design Co., Cornish College of the Arts, and freelances around the house for friends, his wife and dog.
He has won awards from Print Magazine, Type Director’s Club and was recently awarded the Teaching Excellence Award from Cornish. In addition, his work has appeared in HOW, Communication Arts, Print, STEP, Creative Review, Computer Arts, and Varoom magazines. Robert holds a BA in Anthropology from University of San Diego, and a BFA in Design from Cornish College of the Arts. He loves wet, heavy snow and cuts his own hair.
